Quote

One hundred years from now it will not matter what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had, nor what my clothes were like, but the world may be a little better because I was important in the life of a child.

  2. I like the quote, too. I think we have heard it before but it really is true for those who are devoted to children, either as parents or by profession. We really do make a difference!

  4. One of my favorite quotes of all times and you can find this on my desk at school. But I believe it should read..."I was important in the lives of many children." Because that is what we do. We influence many.

  5. This quote is so true! When things get bumpy I reread this quote and remind myself why I am in this career and how much I love working with the children.
