One hundred years from now it will not matter what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had, nor what my clothes were like, but the world may be a little better because I was important in the life of a child.
- Paraphrased from Forest Whitcraft
love your quote. I believe that as early childhood educator we are called participating the forming and modeling our future.
ReplyDeleteI like the quote, too. I think we have heard it before but it really is true for those who are devoted to children, either as parents or by profession. We really do make a difference!
ReplyDeleteI love that quote also! Truer words were never spoken!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite quotes of all times and you can find this on my desk at school. But I believe it should read..."I was important in the lives of many children." Because that is what we do. We influence many.
ReplyDeleteThis quote is so true! When things get bumpy I reread this quote and remind myself why I am in this career and how much I love working with the children.
